
Chandler Jensik joined Nexus Energy Partners in 2026 as a Petroleum Geologist. Chandler brings 14 years of experience working in multi-disciplinary teams responsible for asset development, subsurface characterization, and prospect evaluation in both the oil & gas and CCUS industries. At Nexus, he supports the development of current assets and works with the business development team to identify and advance additional investment opportunities by integrating geologic interpretation with commercial analysis.
Prior to joining Nexus, Chandler started his career with Continental Resources, where he spent 10 years in various roles across operations, development, and exploration, primarily working on their assets in the Williston and Anadarko Basins. He then joined Battelle Carbon Services, where he worked as a Principal Geologist, helping advance commercial-scale carbon capture and storage projects across the United States.
Chandler graduated from Kansas State University in 2012 witha B.S. in Geology. He later earned his M.S. from Kansas State University in2013, with a focus on subsurface characterization and petroleum geology. He isa member of AAPG and the Oklahoma City Geological Society.
