Courtney Jones joined Nexus in 2024 as a Staff Accountant, bringing over a decade of accounting expertise, including five years in the oil and gas industry. In her role, she oversees revenue management, joint interest billing, reconciliation, and other critical accounting tasks.

Before joining Nexus, Courtney served as a general ledger accountant in the nonprofit sector, where she managed responsibilities such as month-end close processes, grant tracking, journal entries, payroll, and leading software updates and transitions. In her previous oil and gas roles, she gained extensive experience in non-operated revenue, joint interest billing, and accounts payable.

Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
